Whats in a name?

Little Glory Enterprises arose as an offshoot of the art and gardening practices of partners Carmine Lake and B.J. Moore.

Carmine and B.J. set up home and studio in the former Primitive Methodist, then St Pauls Lutheran Church in Kapunda, South Australia in 2000.

The building is known locally as ‘Little Glory’, giving rise to our business name.

Art Studio & Picture Framing

As artists, our desire to maintain control over our practice extends to the protection and presentation of finished artwork.

It also became clear to us that as practising artists we were uniquely placed to advise and assist others, as providers of presentation and picture framing solutions; so began our custom framing service.

Succulent Nursery & Display Garden

In many senses, landscaping and gardening are an extension of the creative impulse to the outdoor environment.

In artistic terms, it’s all about the arrangement of colour, form and texture in space, while acknowledging the complexities of the larger scale, factors such as growth and decay, and natural variables such as climate.

As we became familiar with local conditions it gradually became clear to us that succulents were going to provide the year-round colour and texture to complement the native and Mediterranean species that were proving successful in our garden.

Just as our framing service arose from studio practice, the succulent nursery is a natural extension of our gardening practice, and the desire to provide colourful, hardy, waterwise and affordable plants to other gardeners.
